About Me:
What is your WHY?
My family. I know what it is like to be underprepared for the circumstances of our society in the U.S. and that even with a great amount of effort, you still need people around you for support to be successful. I want to be that to others as some people have been to me and my family.
Where are you from? What is your ethnic background?
Los Angeles. Central American-both parents are immigrants from El Salvador. Growing up in the inner city and witnessing my parents sacrifice so much for my sister and I influenced the work I do now. I can appreciate not having good healthcare growing up and the many benefits it can have on one’s life when you do have it – specially for youth.
Who are your top 5?
Ghostface killah, Nas, Ice Cube, Dr. Dre, the pharcyde
