About Me:
What is your WHY?
My “why” stems from a commitment to dismantling inequities in healthcare and providing underserved communities with access to the care they deserve. The inspiration to create lasting change and transform systems that have long marginalized people keeps me coming back, even when the work gets hard. I see myself as an accomplice in the fight for health, one who embraces challenges to break barriers, knowing that this work can be generationally impactful.
Where are you from? What is your ethnic background?
I grew up in Portland, Oregon but now have lived over half of my life in Southern, CA.
I am 79% British and 18% Icelandic. The largest key intersection in my journey into non-profit work stems from my experience as a transformation character within my family dynamic (mitigating the harmful effects of generational trauma). I believe I’m unique because of my experiences, persistence and vision are parts that I contribute to our unified mission.
